Personal Care Assistant Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional care to our residents in a luxurious, comfortable, and safe environment.

About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide direct resident care, striving to give our residents worth and meaning, helping them thrive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as they choose.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
  
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management, and families.
  
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
  
• Provide physical resident care, including personal hygiene and grooming.
  
• Respond to call lights in a timely manner and address resident needs.
  
• Assist with maintaining acceptable nutrition for residents and document meal intake.
  
• Know proper first aid techniques.
  
• Complete documentation of medication reminders.
  
• Maintain a therapeutic environment for residents.
  
• Motivate and encourage resident involvement in activities.
  
• Assist residents to and from activities.
  
• Lift, turn, and re-position residents as needed.
  
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  
  About You
  
  • 
    
  • Great customer service skills.
    
  • CPR certification.
    
  • Nurse Aide certification is a plus, but not required.
    
  • High School Diploma/GED.
    
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with co-workers, residents, family members, and business partners.
