Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist responsible
for delivering a high-quality patient experience through call
resolution and patient access functions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduling, pre-registration, and registration tasks for
patients
Provide excellent customer service and answer patient inquiries
Route calls to appropriate staff to maintain operational
workflow
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree
preferred
1-2 years of general clerical, customer service, or medical
experience required
Prior call center or high-volume patient contact experience
preferred
Epic certification and HFMA certification preferred
Knowledge of Arizona Medicaid programs and federal/state
regulations preferred
